Industrial Partners &
Collaborators

Research Project: Collaborations often involve joint research and development (R&D) efforts, where both the Centre and its industry partners contribute resources, expertise, and facilities.
Consulting Services: The Centre provides consultancy to assist companies in improving the design, efficiency, and performance of compressors and expanders, enabling partners to enhance their products and services.
Licensing Agreements: Some collaborations result in licensing patented technologies developed by the Centre, allowing companies to integrate innovative compressor profiles and designs into their manufacturing processes.
Training Programs: Industry engineers often attend training programs led by the Centre, gaining insights into the latest developments in compressor technology and the use of specialized software tools developed at the Centre.

Academic Collaborators

Joint Research Projects: The Centre collaborates with leading academic institutions on projects that address global challenges in energy efficiency, compressor technology, and fluid dynamics. These collaborations often result in co-authored publications, advancements in theoretical and applied research, and joint ventures in experimental studies.
Academic Exchanges: Faculty and researchers from the Centre frequently engage in academic exchanges, hosting visiting scholars and sending researchers to partner institutions. These exchanges foster a diverse intellectual environment, providing access to new methodologies, research perspectives, and technical expertise.
Interdisciplinary Cooperation: Many of the Centre’s collaborations extend beyond mechanical engineering, engaging with experts in fields such as computational fluid dynamics (CFD), material sciences, and environmental engineering. This interdisciplinary approach allows the Centre to tackle complex research questions and innovate within energy systems and compressor design.
Global Network: The Centre has partnered with universities in Europe, North America, and Asia, contributing to a global research network. Collaborations with universities have led to significant breakthroughs in compressor efficiency, sustainability in energy systems, and enhanced training opportunities for PhD students and young researchers.
